The Hogline Curlers Proshop is owned and operated by an experienced curler - Joe Pavia.

While Joe knows many renowned curlers, he’s most at home serving club curlers, rookies, children, youth and senior curlers who might not want to shop but just want to chat about the game we all love.

Joe has been involved with the curling world for decades as a player, organizer and curling commentator. He’s the weekly curling columnist for the Ottawa Sun where his Wednesday column is eagerly anticipated and is indeed available across the country.

We offer a timely and complete shoe repair and rehabilitation service.
We can assess your shoe problem and advise you as to your options.
You pay when you pick up your shoe.
You may not have to purchase new shoes. Your current pair may just need some rehabilitation!

We will call you when your shoes are ready to be picked up. Toe cap ($20) and toe coating ($20)application takes 1 day. Gripper ($37) and slider application takes 2 days. Slider application costs: 1/4 inch - $77, 3/16 - $64, 5/32 - $54, 3/32 - $34, 1/16 - $27

SLIDER APPLICATION: The Hogline Curlers Proshop continues to carry the largest selection of curling merchandise in eastern Ontario. Join our fan base now. Various slider thicknesses are available in a range of products. We will call you when your shoe is ready for pick up.

GRIPPER APPLICATION: We offer various styles and give you guidelines for the care and maintenance of your gripper. WE will call you when your shoe is ready for pick up.

TOE CAPS & TOE COATINGS: Caps are a good way to extend the life of your shoes and reduce drag. We also carry toe cap kits for the DIY minded. The kits contain the toe cap, sand paper, contact cement and instructions. We also have 2-way tape toe caps.

CUSTOM WORK: Our skilled craftsman can offer suggestions to enhance your shoe's life and maybe add a wrinkle you never thought of. If you require a toe cap to be located in a special placde on your shoe, we ask that you trace on the shoe where that location is.

We also carry laces and offer free advice to maintain your curling footwear.

We all know how fast children grow and having to buy new shoes annually can be expensive.

The Hogline Curlers Proshop Kids Club may help solve that problem. By signing up for the Kids Club members get a 10% discount on in-store shoes (not special orders).

Not only that but when they grow out of the shoes we will put them on consignment so other aspiring curlers get a chance at an economical pair of shoes.

You get half the consignment shoe purchase money back towards the cost of a new pair of shoes.
